Cadbury #GoodLuckGirls

Cricket is the most loved sport in India. But a large part of that love is reserved for Men’s Cricket Teams. Cadbury Dairy Milk, a brand that stands for acknowledging the unacknowledged, decided to change this conversation in a patriarchal society like India.

Back in 1994, Cadbury Dairy Milk had created a cricket film that went on to become one of India’s most iconic films. In it, a young girl dances exuberantly on a cricket ground to celebrate her boyfriend’s century.

Fast forward to 2021. Cadbury reimagined this ad with a powerful gender twist. Shot exactly like the earlier ad, except, this time it shows a woman cricketer batting and her boyfriend dancing crazily, celebrating her century. The film ends with #GoodLuckGirls, a resounding cheer for women across all fields.
